Gardens Design in Canberra and surrounding NSW region
Exceptionally beautiful landscapes optimise existing environmental conditions, suit the lifestyle of their owners and stand the test of time.
The Journey
Outdoor Impressions follows a clear process to ensure you are 100% happy with your garden designs.
Consultation
Book your initial call to discuss your aspirations and share details about your site.
Our Lead designer will ask you to complete a client questionnaire, then work with you to formulate a brief that sets out the parameters for your design.
Your initial consultation is free of charge and will be followed by a quote for garden design services.
Site Survey
We will visit your site to obtain relevant data and undertake measurements. We will request from you a council plan to confirm the boundaries of your site.
A detailed site analysis will determine the opportunities and constraints as well as the topographical and climatic conditions of your site. This data will also be used as a foundation to create a design that accommodates the unique features of your house and surrounds.
Preliminary Plan
You will receive functional diagram sketches for consideration followed by a fully scaled preliminary plan for comment.
We engage our clients in a collaborative process to ensure that they are satisfied with the design development.
Masterplan
Your final design includes a hand drafted master plan in both black & white and colour, to show you how your final design will look.
Additional artistic impressions of your garden such as a three dimensional plan can be provided for a small additional cost.
Planting Plan and Schedule
Now you have your garden designs, we can provide planting suggestions and a planting plan showing the position of existing plants to be retained as well as position of new plants in the design.
An accompanying plant schedule lists all the plant names for ease of identification for landscape contractors.
Planting and Ongoing Maintenance
After your garden designs have been implemented, we can advise on plant positioning and subcontract the planting if required, for you.
Construction
Talk to us about recommended landscape construction services/sub-contractors and ask for help to arrange a quote.
Styling
Let us source the purchase of soils, compost, plant materials, pots, garden ornamentation, furniture and other elements required for the styling of your space.
